Internal medicine is a specialisation in which doctors are trained to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of diseases, regardless of complexity. These can range from common infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections to chronic diseases like gastrointestinal discomfort and endocrine disorders. They are also champions of health promotions, advocating for good self care and practices to manage some of these conditions through healthy living or lifestyle modifications.    

Depending on the severity of the conditions, our doctors will recommend whether outpatient management or inpatient warding will be required for closer monitoring. Appropriate treatment will be provided to manage the conditions and monitoring will be provided to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment.
