The day surgery wards (DSW) are for patients who had just completed their endoscopic procedures or minor elective surgeries. Nurses will monitor and assess their condition before allowing them to be discharged. Simple meals may be served, if the patient’s condition allows, to help them recuperate. Most patient would usually be able to return home within the day of admission itself.
