The high dependency unit (HDU) are reserved for patients whose conditions require more closer monitoring by our staff. The three beds are housed at level 2 of the hospital with 24h monitoring and assessments by our nurses. They will then be able to transfer to our normal inpatient ward once their condition is more stable.
