The high dependency unit at level 2 is always operational ready for handling emergency cases. It is equipped with trained professional staff and healthcare equipment to manage urgent cases that may arise. Vitals, ventilators and ECG will be recorded real time to monitor patients throughout and staff will be on stand-by to manage situations that may happen.

If the patient’s condition had deteriorated, he may require more continuous care monitoring under the intensive care unit, neighbouring the HDU.
