Visitor’s Guide

Family, relatives and friends form an integral part in our patients’ recovery journeys, providing the emotional and psychological support that the patient needs most during this time. This is why we encourage visitation of patients during their stay at our hospital, on nomination by the patient. This is to ensure patients’ safety and privacy while still enjoying with the time with their loved ones. This guide will be of help to improve the visitation journey.

Mandatory Antigen Rapid Test for Visitors (last updated on 22/6/2021, 5pm)

In line with Ministry of Health’s guidelines and for the safety of our patients and staff, all hospital / ward visitors must keep their visits to 20 minutes or less. Otherwise, visitors will have to undergo the Antigen Rapid Test (ART). This applies to all visitors, including caregivers who are staying in the ward beyond 20 minutes, regardless of your vaccination status.

Visitors must test negative before they are allowed entry, and the result will only be valid for 24h from the time of their ART. Please be informed that results from ‘Self-testing kit’ will not be accepted.

Priority will be given to visitors with urgent need.

As of current MOH guidelines, inpatients will be allowed to receive visits from ONE pre-designated person. If a patient stayed longer than 7 days, they are allowed to add one more registered visitor from the 7th day of admission.  Dangerously ill patients will be allowed five pre-designated visitors, with maximum of two visitors at the patient’s bedside at any one time.
